London fashion week - buzzing with creativity

With London Fashion Week just a couple days away, London is buzzing with creativity and design talent.

Throughout London, many established universities run respected fashion degrees. Known for nurturing eccentric and ground-breaking talent, London fashion students and graduates are some of the brightest designers in the industry.

However, degrees are expensive and not always a practical or realistic option for learning the skills you need to make it in the fashion industry. If you are self-funded, on low income, have dependents, are an adult looking to change professions or have learning difficulties, a higher education course can be out of reach.

At Fashion Antidote we aim to provide a solution to this, with an alternative method for fashion tuition. Our courses in fashion skills such as Garment construction, pattern cutting, design, illustration and business are short, affordable and flexible, intended to bring industry level skill based tuition to those who want to learn.

With stellar designer support schemes such as Topshop New Gen and Designer Fashion Fund, set up by the high rollers of the industry, London is a land of promise and opportunity for the budding fashion designer. You don’t have to have a degree to make it in fashion, just the practical skills, knowledge and creative talent to set yourself apart.
