We've got our popular summer courses running throughout July and August, covering Garment Construction, Pattern Cutting, Drawing, Design and Business.
These are our intensive one week or 2-3 day courses, as a part of our summer school. These courses are often popular with graduates or students who have the summer off, or professionals who have holiday booked for the summer, and want to get some exciting and practical sewing skills under their belt!
The Garment Construction weeks will be a crash course in making - from complete beginner to accomplished sewer and maker in 1 week. You'll leave the first week with the ability to sew, and make a simple skirt and dress from a pattern, and the 2nd with the knowledge of making a trouser and a shirt.

The Pattern Cutting weeks are a intensive insight into pattern cutting, an essential skill in the fashion industry. You'll learn all the terminology, tools and equipment that go with pattern cutting, and work through the skirt, bodice and dress block, and making collars and sleeves in the first week, and the second takes you through the trousers and the shirt.

These courses are all £400 - 500 for the whole week, based, as all our courses are, on an hourly rate.
The classes will be small - no more than 10 students, ensuring you will receive the most one to one tuition possible from our industry experts
